Merowe Studio is a Washington, D.C.-based automotive and motorsport photography brand founded by Salah Mohammed.
Salah came to photography from two directions at once. With a background in Systems Engineering, he developed a deep appreciation for design, mechanics, and the analytical side of how things work. As a lifelong creative and artist, he's always been drawn to the expressive, the intuitive, and the felt.
His work lives in the space between those two worlds. Machines are built for precision, but what makes them worth photographing is something less calculated.

Over the last two years, Salah has built a portfolio spanning car meets, track days, and motorsport events across the DMV and beyond.
